His articles have appeared in such publications as The Elks Magazine, Modern Maturity (now AARP), American Way, Rotarian, Military Officer, Guideposts, Positive Thinking, Lutheran Journal, Catholic Insight, Light and Life, Family Motor Coaching, Mature Living and Vibrant Life—and many more.
Richard latest book is Pranks in Print, A Collection of Fake Stories, Phony Ads and other Media Mischief. A collection of published items, believed by readers that turned out to be fakes. He is also the author of three other books: Awe-Full Moments: Spirituality in the Commonplace, a book about blessings, change and hope; seeing God work in our lives through everyday events. It Made a Difference to that One is his book about how one person's actions can affected the lives of many others. Holy Humor: if this is Church, Why are we Laughing? is a collection of humors stories and joke with a religious slant.
Richard is a Professional Engineer, licensed in the State of California. He is experienced in writing technical manuals, reports and proposals. He has also edited theses and dissertations for graduate students. He graduated from Excelsior College with a B.S. in Liberal Arts.
Richard resides in West Covina, California with his wife, Donna. They have been married 50 years and have two grown children, Christopher and Stephanie, and four energetic grandsons.
